The power of producing two kinds of reproductive bodies, as
in the hog peanut Amphicarpaea bracteata, in which besides
the usual pods produced from flowers above ground, there are
others underground. In the hog peanut the above-ground
flowers are all creamy white or tinged with purple, as in the
photo.
