formerly hunted with the larger falcons.

great blue heron (Ardea herodias); the little blue
(Ardea c[oe]rulea); the green (Ardea virescens);
the snowy (Ardea candidissima); the night heron or
qua-bird (Nycticorax nycticorax). The plumed herons
