Forbidden fruit.
(a) Any coveted unlawful pleasure, -- so called with
reference to the forbidden fruit of the Garden of Eden.
(b) (Bot.) A small variety of shaddock (Citrus decumana).
The name is given in different places to several
varieties of Citrus fruits.
