Of or pertaining to Cadmus, a fabulous prince of Thebes, who
was said to have introduced into Greece the sixteen simple

[epsilon], [iota], [kappa], [lambda], [mu], [nu], [omicron],
[pi], [rho], [sigma], [tau], [upsilon]. These are called
Cadmean letters.
